WHAT YOU THOUGHT WAS GONNA HAPPEN?
Our founder, Brigette Brantley is an educator based in NYC whose news interview when viral during the #BlackLivesMatter protests following the tragic murder of George Floyd and countless others.
After an outstanding show of support, Ms. Brantley started Da People's Assembly as a non-profit organization to give back to communities of color across the country.

Our annual Back to School drive has been extended to Saturday, August 19th! Donate via in-person drop off or Amazon Wishlist, or sign up to volunteer.
Back to School Bash
Join us on August 19th for a school supplies bazaar and giveaway, as well as music, entertainment, food vendors and games!
At the Belmont Playground from 1-6 PM.
